Domain names ordered through our website become active within minutes after confirmation of payment in the system. It is very important that you fill in all the fields during registration (Codice Fiscale or company tax data – in the case of .it domains).

If not all fields are filled in when you place your order, the activation is not automatic and requires prior verification by us.

To transfer a domain from one registrar to another, there are several key items and steps you need:

1. Domain is Eligible for Transfer:

   • Ensure the domain has been with the current registrar for at least 60 days. ICANN rules generally prevent domains from being transferred within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer.
   • Confirm that the domain is not in “pending delete” or “redemption” status.

2. Unlock the Domain:

   • Domains usually have a “domain lock” or “transfer lock” feature for security. Log in to your current registrar’s dashboard and make sure this lock is disabled.

3. Authorization Code (EPP Code):

   • This is a unique code required by the new registrar to initiate the transfer. You can obtain it from your current registrar, typically from the domain management section.

4. Administrative Contact’s Email Address:

   • The transfer authorization email will be sent to the domain’s administrative contact. Make sure this email address is correct and accessible.

5. Initiate the Transfer:

   • With the EPP code in hand, go to the domain transfer page and start the transfer process. You will typically need to provide the domain name and the EPP code.

6. Authorization Email:

   • Once you initiate the transfer, an email will be sent to the domain’s administrative contact email address. You’ll need to approve the transfer by following the instructions in that email.

7. Wait:

   • After authorizing the transfer, there will be a waiting period (typically up to seven days) for the current registrar to release the domain. Some registrars allow you to expedite the process, while others might send another email to confirm the transfer.

8. Finalization:

   • Once the domain is transferred, it will appear in the dashboard of the new registrar. Verify all details and settings to ensure everything is as you expect.

9. Reconfigure Domain Settings:

   • Remember, transferring a domain might not transfer DNS settings or other configurations. After the transfer, you might need to reconfigure domain settings, like DNS, forwarding, or contact details, at the new registrar.

If you have registered a new domain name and want to add it to an existing cPanel account you need to log into that cPanel account and add it to the Addon Domains section. Make sure you have set the correct server name.

The name servers of a domain name registered through DASABO can be modified from the client account (my.dasabo.com) section Domains -> My Domains -> click on the 3 dots next to the domain -> Manage nameservers. The update requires a propagation time of 4-24 hours.
