This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and other tracking tools used by the Dasabo website (https://www.dasabo.com), operated by DASABO SRL, registered office at Via Imperatore Federico 100, 90143 Palermo (PA), Italia, VAT no. IT07407380828 (the “Controller”). It is provided under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Privacy Code), which implements Directive 2002/58/EC (“ePrivacy”), Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools” of 10 June 2021.
For general information on how we process personal data, please see the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website sends to your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), where they are stored and sent back to the same website on your next visit. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, pixels or fingerprinting techniques, make it possible to store information on, or access information already stored on, your device: the same rules that apply to cookies apply to them.
Cookies can be first-party, when set directly by the website you are visiting, or third-party, when set by a different domain. They can also be session cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
2. Technical cookies (always active)
Technical cookies are necessary for the website to work or to provide a service you have explicitly requested. Under Article 122(1) of the Italian Privacy Code, they do not require consent. The website uses first-party technical cookies for:
- session: keeping your browsing session and, for authorised users, access to the administration area;
- security (CSRF): protecting forms, such as the contact form, against forged requests sent from other websites;
- language preference: remembering the language you selected;
- cookie consent: storing your cookie choices so the banner is not shown on every visit.
3. First-party anonymous statistics
The website collects aggregated visit statistics directly on its own systems and, by default, does not use third-party analytics services. As set out in the Authority’s Guidelines, these tools are treated like technical cookies and do not require consent because they:
- are used only by the Controller to produce aggregated statistics on how the website is used;
- reduce the identifying power of the data, for example by masking the IP address or not storing it in full;
- do not combine the data with other information or use it to profile users;
- do not share the data with third parties.
4. Optional cookies (only with consent)
The Controller may in the future enable cookies or tools in the following categories, which are set only after you have given your consent through the banner or the preferences panel:
- Analytics: analysis tools, including third-party tools, that do not meet the requirements in section 3 and allow a more detailed analysis of browsing behaviour;
- Marketing: tools used to show content or ads in line with your preferences or to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, including on third-party websites.
Without your consent these categories stay disabled and the website keeps working normally. If such tools involve transferring data to third countries, the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy apply.
4.1 Anonymised third-party analytics cookies
Analytics cookies also include third-party tools configured with IP address anonymisation (for example Google Analytics with anonymised IP, possibly managed through Google Tag Manager, or Yandex Metrica). Unless they meet all the requirements in section 3, such tools are set only with your consent, in the Analytics category.
4.2 Profiling cookies and third-party advertising services
Profiling cookies, including third-party ones, are used to build a profile of you and show personalised ads in line with the preferences expressed while browsing, including on third-party websites and social networks (for example Meta Platforms remarketing). They belong to the Marketing category and are set only with your consent. The third parties that set them act as independent controllers: for details please see their privacy notices, reachable from the Privacy Policy, which lists the third-party services used.
In addition to the “Cookie preferences” link and your browser settings, you can opt out of personalised advertising through the tools provided by third parties, such as AppChoices (youradchoices.com/appchoices), the Your Online Choices platform and the privacy and ad settings of your social network accounts.
5. Cookies in use

5.1 Client area cookies (my.dasabo.com)
Orders, invoices and the client area run on a separate platform (WHMCS) at my.dasabo.com, which you reach through the “Log in” and “Order now” buttons. That platform sets its own cookies only when you visit it; they are listed in the table above with provider my.dasabo.com (WHMCS). The session cookie and, if you choose “Remember me”, the login cookie are technical cookies needed to place orders and use the client area. The affiliate and link-tracking cookies are set only if you arrive through an affiliate link or a tracked link.
6. Managing or withdrawing consent
On your first visit the website shows a banner that lets you:
- accept all cookies;
- reject all cookies other than technical ones, with an equally prominent button; closing the banner with the “X” counts as a rejection and keeps the default settings only;
- choose which categories to enable, one by one.
Scrolling the page or simply continuing to browse does not count as consent. Access to the website’s content does not depend on accepting optional cookies.
Your choices are stored in a technical cookie. The banner is not shown again for 6 months unless the processing conditions change significantly, new tracking tools are introduced, or it is not possible to tell whether your choices have already been stored (for example because you deleted the cookie).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking technical cookies may stop some parts of the website from working properly, such as the contact form or the language preference. Instructions for the most common browsers:
For mobile devices, please refer to the instructions provided by your operating system or browser vendor.
8. Controller and your rights
The data controller is DASABO SRL, reachable at [email protected], by certified email at [email protected] or by phone at —. For data protection matters you can write to [email protected]. You can exercise your rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR and lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy may be updated following changes in the law or the introduction of new tools. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update. If the changes concern tools that require consent, the banner will be shown again so you can renew your choices.
