If you want your emails to work through Gmail using the G Suite solution you need to consider changing the MXs related to the domain. Editing MX records is done from cPanel -> Zone Editor.
Step 1: Add the MX records shown below by pressing the +MX RECORD button. We only need to fill in the “Priority” and “Destination” fields. The values must be copied from the table below:
MX records related to G Suite:
Name/Host/Alias | Time to Live (TTL*) | Record Type | Priority | Value/Answer/Destination |
---|---|---|---|---|
@ or leave blank | 3600 | MX | 1 | ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM |
@ or leave blank | 3600 | MX | 5 | ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM |
@ or leave blank | 3600 | MX | 5 | ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM |
@ or leave blank | 3600 | MX | 10 | ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM |
@ or leave blank | 3600 | MX | 10 | ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM |
Step 2: Delete the MX record with priority 0.
The record is also deleted from cPanel -> Zone Editor -> Manage -> Delete (we choose the MX record with priority 0 and our domain name).
