The steps required to set up an email address in Mozilla Thunderbird are as follows:
Step 1: You just need to make sure that you have created an email account in cPanel and know the following data: user, password and server.
Example: for the email address [email protected] the configuration data is as follows:
User: [email protected]
Password: password set when the email address was created.
Step 2: Download the Mozilla Thunderbird application. You can search for it on Google or you can directly access the link on the Mozilla Thunderbird website where you will always find the latest version.
Step 3: Launch the application and go to FILE -> NEW -> Existing Mail Account.
Step 4: Add your email address details: your full name, email address and password. Check the password reminder box and choose IMAP protocol under Available Configurations.
Step 5: If everything has been set up correctly you will receive the message “Account successfully created“.
