By default, when a cPanel account is activated there is no email address created. In order to create an email address you must log into cPanel on the form link your-domain.com/cpanel and then navigate to the Email menu.
Below we will present you all the necessary steps to create an email address:
Step 1: Login to cPanel on the form link your-domain.com/cpanel (your-domain.com is included with the domain name you own).
Step 2: Navigate to the Email menu and choose the Email Accounts option.
Step 3: Click on the CREATION or CREATE button (depending on the language set in the cPanel interface) and set the username (desired mail: office, accounting, john.natan, etc) and choose a complex password. I recommend generating a password that contains both uppercase letters, digits and a special character. Memorize or save the password in a safe place.
Email addresses created in cPanel can be accessed via WEBMAIL, configured in Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird (Mozilla Thunderbird download link) or in IOS or Android mobile apps using the standard email app. You can also use the Gmail app (download Gmail app link for IOS) or Android (download Gmail app link for Android), being a very stable and easy to configure app.
Accessing email in Webmail: use the form link your-domain.com/webmail in the browser (your-domain.com is replaced by your own domain name).
Email configuration in Thunderbird: Use the configuration data in cPanel -> Email Accounts -> Manage (next to the email address) and follow this configuration tutorial.
